Me?

Alright where do I start? Being an actor led me to creating my own content, which led me to photography, which led me to creating props, which led me to UX/UI, concept and stage design. I've shot for private events, festivals, raves and sell photos of my travels on Shutterstock. I've featured my 3D collages in art galleries and often create props for festivals and shoots. I have been props master, wardrobe and worked in the art department in indie films and I've been a creative director for various artistic shoots. I've also directed shorts, music videos and commercials and currently I also get hired to design websites.

Directing

Directing came out of my love (and sometimes hate) for life. From my talks with ranting homeless people and lucid dreams of eras that never existed. It was born from my need to turn my writing into a tangible narrative. From my obsession with colors and visual stimuli. It materialized from the burning passion to have a voice and to create worlds that either sensationalized or downplayed our existence. Having started my own film production company with a group of friends, we shot multiple shorts, music videos, commercials and reels. From encoutering alien Jesuses to murdering abnoxious roomates, imagination is the limit.

Photography

Photography was the child of directing. Having to occasionally take on the role of DP, I acquired my own DSLR and equipment. After shooting a bunch of people bathing in lasers at festivals and a few monkeys scratching their genitals in Bali, I was hired by organizers to shoot their events and festivals. I even made money on Shutterstock. I love shooting and I am thankful to say it has taken me to many cool places I might have otherwise never been to. But most importantly it allows me to capture moments in time my memory would only ever reproduce in low-res and after applying one too many filters.

Through The Looking Glass...

Art

When still a child, I created art for the sake of it. As an adult it was purely driven by vanity. Headresses, LED staffs, jewelry, phone cases...if I can't find it or buy it I make it. Fine...I still do the occasional art for the sake of it. My favorite part of working in the Art Department was gluing weird things like moss into random objects and making sure the paint dried before it ruined actors' costumes.

Design

Design is my religion. Bold statement I know but it's the truth. Everything I do is design driven and has a role and aesthetic. I leave nothing to chance. If it's there, it's there for a reason. Ok sometimes it isn't but mostly it is. Immersive, purposeful and functional are my keywords. I want anything I design to be an experience, to have a function and to inspire you to ask questions. If it's a User Interface I want it to be intuitive but if it's for artistic reasons, prepared to be ejected from your seat. I love juxtapositions so don't be shocked if I throw in some Vaporwave into your Steampunk. When working with clients, I enter their psyche so I can create something that is them but better than what they imagined. When it's my project, you end up with a site like this.
